The Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development developed a core list of courses (CORE 42)that will transfer among all public two- and four-year colleges and universities and participating private colleges and universities in the state.
Check out the Course Transfer Tracker to see all courses that will transfer as equivalent credit. Courses from the Missouri Transfer Course Library taken prior to the establishment of the CORE 42 for the 2018-19 academic year are still valid even though the rest of CORE 42 is not retroactive. If you’re unsure on the transferability of a course you’ve taken, check with the transfer office at the college to which you are transferring.
CORE 42 can help you avoid having to retake courses you previously completed at another college or university, saving you time and money as you work toward a degree. Look for the CORE 42 logo in your college’s course catalog.
