The Missouri Department of Higher Education developed a “library” of courses that will transfer on a one-to-one equivalent basis among all public two- and four-year colleges and universities and participating private colleges and universities in the state.
Existing courses from the Missouri Transfer Course Library are now part of CORE 42. New courses may be added to the Transfer Course Library at a later date, but for now, check out the Course Transfer Tracker to see all courses that will transfer as equivalent credit. Courses from the Missouri Transfer Course Library taken prior to the establishment of the CORE 42 for the 2018-19 academic year are still valid even though the rest of CORE 42 is not retroactive. If you’re unsure on the transferability of a course you’ve taken, check with the transfer office at the college to which you’re transferring.
CORE 42 and the Transfer Course Library can help you avoid having to retake courses you previously completed at another college or university, saving you time and money as you work toward a degree.
