FAFSA Frenzy events provide free, one-on-one assistance to help students and parents fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
The FAFSA is the primary form used by federal, state and college financial aid programs to determine students’ eligibility for grants, scholarships, work-study and loans.
A number of high schools, colleges, and community organizations host FAFSA Frenzy events from October through January at locations throughout Missouri.
What to bring
Students and parents should bring the following items to a FAFSA Frenzy event:
- Student and parent FSA ID information.
- A list of schools to which you have applied, been accepted, or are interested in attending.
- Student and parent 2017 W-2 forms and/or tax return copies. Parental information is required for dependent students (most undergraduate students under the age of 24). Determine if you are an independent or dependent student.
The FAFSA Frenzy program is sponsored by the Missouri Department of Higher Education in partnership with the Missouri Association of Student Financial Aid Personnel, the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority, and the National College Access Network.
